..***************************** Welcome! This is Heroes of Might and Magic I full walkthrough. The movie comes without music and sound, because its recorded as time lapse - its 190% of regular Heroes 1 speed. I have choosen Lord Alamar army because this is the most versalite army in entire game. Please post some comments about mine run, I very appreciate it. :)) ***************************** General tips on Heroes 1 strategy: 1. Remember that there are no marketplaces at all. Don't waste your time getting unuseful resources, because you won't trade them anyway. 2. Use AI dumbness everytime. They are moving in some patterns, its quite easy to find out those patterns. 3. Don't try to build superior army in this game. AI Heroes LOVE to split armies, so you won't need superior hero with for example 10 dragons, 40 hydras, 90 griffons, 100+ gargoyles when you have to deal with 20 AI heroes with starting armies. 4. Remember that dragons are immune to all spells and phoenixes are immune to elemental rain. Try to combine those facts and use it as advantange. 5. Try to not cast spell before enemy hero does, because you may end with 40 berserked hydras that wipe out your army. 6. Try to find out combat pattern, its quite easy. Initiative depends on speed, and games flips sides each battle round. 7. Never take experience from chests. In Heroes 1 levels don't yield much bonus, its better to have that 1,500 or 2,000 gold coins instead of level up. ***************************** Scenario 02: "Archipelago" This scenario can be frustrating if you are playing it wrong way. The strength of enemy players here are their agression, but its a weakness if you know how to use it. The main point of this map - be agressive! Don't worry about every treasure, every mine etc. Grab some army and head through portals (or boats if you are sorceress). Always leave your castles defended, at least marginally, thay will scare AI players from your cities. They always head directly to undefended city ignoring everything on their way. I'm playing Alamar here, you can see good strategy of having only hero with some hydras. They are great for slaying packs of "walkers" but they are nothing agains shooters (unless you have teleport spells). Don't mess with neutral towns here, they wont help you much. Of course, they yield 250 coins daily, but you WON'T need strong army here, it means: you won't need much money here. You can see that I'm changing formation every time I create new hero. Its good to place Griffons near Centaurs, because of Gargoyle speed 3 you can cover your shooter entirely. I'd want to have Minotaurs on 2nd place, but that would leave my shooter undefended, so I'm not going for it. If I would take hydras to army, they are great at 2nd place near centaurs - enemies like to attack creatures defending shooters. Watch next part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MxrbjBYYoM Less

Feb 11, 2010 - the only map in this campaing that was frustrating me (I havent had "control" about things) is the last one. resources and mines are placed there incredibly stupid and I wasn't felt the game. but every other scenario is controlled by me. and thanks for watching my video and stars :))

Feb 11, 2010 - its all about experience in gaming. after some weeks of playing you can know good tactics etc. but after some years you are starting to "control" game - i mean timings with days, its not random that I'm coming to city at day seven and so. after playing that much, I know every position of my heroes, plans, tactics, possible dangers etc and its done automatically. driving a car can be hard when you are beginner, but after some time you won't even recognize how good you feel it. :))
